During our relationship you demonstrated not only your knowledge of the business but your professionalism. The house buying and selling decisions are by far some of the biggest we make in our lives. You seemed to be one step ahead of us all the time guiding us through the tangled web of becoming a homeowner. Thank you again very much for your patience and knowledge. Both Becky and I look forward to some day working with you again. Sincerely, Hello Don,
Greetings from sunny Florida! Cathy and I just wanted to write and thank you for selling our home in Ellicott City. We are so pleased that we selected you as our realtor over the many others that we interviewed. We liked you right away as we were very impressed with your marketing plan, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and especially your charming personality. Over the short time that you had our home listed -- it sold so fast -- we found you to be extremely competent and possessing a degree of professionalism and character that one rarely encounters these days. You really put our concerns and interests first and sold our home in the time frame we desired and for the price we wanted. We especially appreciated the on-going personal contact we received from you on matters that you could have delegated to your staff. Sincerely, Dear Don,
Thank you for the recent tax information for the sale and purchase of our house this past July. Thank you also for the excellent job you did for us. I was particularly impressed with you aggressive marketing. You rose above unforeseen obstacles and difficulties completely beyond your and our control with grace and vigor. Your marketing generated such phenomenal interest that we had a very lucrative contract that culminated in the successful sale of our property within a short time of putting the house on the market. I was in the area recently and noticed several of the houses for sale before we put our house on the market (and priced somewhat below market) are still for sale. We got our asking price. That speaks very well of your skill, knowledge and dedication. You dealt with us in an ethical, honest and fair manner and held to your promises. I was impressed with the way you dealt with others, even under less than optimal conditions. Moving is never easy, but having you represent us made the experience easier for us. Thank you. Sincerely, ![]() Dear Don: Just a brief note to give you a heart-felt thank you. Not only did you go the extra mile (taking the Radon canisters to the testing facility) but your pleasant and accommodating nature always made it fun. Thanks for being so competent, Karen Wexler Dear Don,
Adair and I wanted to thank you for all your help in the successful marketing and sale of our home. Your professional and thorough approach to our needs were evident early on, which played key roles in our selecting you to represent us. It was a very competitive market, and your detailed game plan and expert advice were a great help throughout the selling process. If we should ever be in need of real estate services in the future, we will have you at the top of our list. And if anyone asks, we highly recommend you for their needs as well. Keep up the good work, and keep hitting them straight. Sincerely, Dear Don,
I just wanted to write you and "thank you" for selling our house. I had every confidence that if anyone could sell our house you could. I would never have moved to California and left our house vacant if that confidence wasn't there. Thanks Again & God Bless, Dear Don:
On behalf of the Howard County Association of REALTORS® and the Education Committee, I would like to thank you for serving on the "Old School vs. New School Panel Forum" at The Meeting House, Oakland Mills. Based on survey results, attending agents found this discussion to very insightful and gained a wealth of new ideas regarding prospecting, listing and selling strategies, marketing and promotions, and the like. We greatly appreciate your taking time from your busy schedule to serve the Association, and your willingness to openly share your strategies with local area agents. Sincerely, As you can imagine, it is no minor undertaking for me to take time out of my busy schedule to express my sincere appreciation to you. Your efforts in finding a buyer for my home in Maryland in just four short days and then, following up on the sale to ensure that settlement went smoothly, made my transition to Louisiana go a whole lot easier. I don't need to tell you that giving you the power of attorney to settle on the property in my absence was no small testament to my confidence in you. Your professionalism, competence, responsiveness, and ability to deal with adversity and difficult personalities are benchmarks for others in your industry. Throughout the process of selling my home, I felt as though you truly cared about the personal and economic issues that were important to me. I thank you for that and it is without reservation that I recommend your services to anyone who is in the process of buying or selling a home. Very truly yours, Dear Don,
Before too much time got away, I wanted to write and thank you for successfully marketing my home in Columbia. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable and savvy real estate agent. This was not the easiest transaction, and I know you worked hard and cooperatively with the buyer broker to bring it to a successful conclusion. In the end I think everyone was happy; I know I was. This is a tough real estate market and to have completed the sale in such a short time indicates that you know the market: how to correctly price the house; how to promote it and, how to bring the deal to closure. You fulfilled every promise you made. You were communicative, and you were through to a fault. Frankly, I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe the wonderful job you did. Sincerely, Dear Don,
I wanted to write and thank-you for the outstanding job you did in selling my home, and in helping me find a new one. As I mentioned when you listed the property last November, most homes in my neighborhood had been languishing on the market for a minimum of six months (my neighbor's home has been listed by two different agents for over nine months). That combined with the holiday season coming upon us. I did not expect a fast sale. Boy was I wrong! You immediately began to market my home and brought in prospective buyers. I was delighted to get the first offer within two weeks, and incredibly pleased to accept the final contract at nearly full list price before the end of December. Then you really went to work. All of a sudden we had to find a new home, and one with some specific requirements! I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your patience and diligence in the search process. I am thoroughly pleased with the property you found. You worked through the offer/counter-offer process, giving me advice as my buyer-broker, and went beyond the call of duty in resolving issues. As a real estate appraiser and loan officer, I work with dozens of Realtors, buy you can be assured that I will refer my friends and contacts to you. Best wishes, To whom it
may concern:
We most highly recommend Mr. Don Fitzgerald to anyone who needs the services of a Real Estate Agent. He recently represented us in the listing/sale of our home and was able to locate a new home for us to purchase which met our every need. Mr. Fitzgerald was able to explain in understandable terms all of the ins and outs of the real estate documents which he presented to us. No high pressure tactics were applied; he truly cared that we make the right decision for us. Through his efforts, we were able to sell our home for top dollar in a market that was not paying top dollar. Mr. Fitzgerald was very professional and responsive in a timely manner to each inquiry. He always exhibited the highest ethics of his profession. Sincerely, Dear Don,
Thank you for all of your help in finding us a home here in Columbia. You have incredible patience! We are settling in and getting to know our way around pretty well. Columbia is a lovely community. I think we're going to like it here. Sincerely, ![]() To whom it may concern, Don Fitzgerald worked as our agent for us during the period of August to October. At that time, Don was handling three transactions for us. We were trying to sell our townhouse, rent out our present home and buy another home. Don was always very professional, courteous and went the distance to accomplish the tasks at hand. Don was always available and acted as a calming influence on us when we became frazzled. I plan to call on Don in the future whenever a real estate concern arises. Sincerely, I first met
Don while I was advertising my home for-sale-by-owner. Like many realtors,
Don took the opportunity to visit one of my open houses and introduce himself
to me. However, unlike the other realtors, Don was not the high pressured
- give me your listing - agent that I had encountered. With a very professional
manner, he offered to provide me with market comparisons, suggestions on
making the house more attractive to potential buyers, and even provide
me with all the necessary paperwork required to sell my home.
As a result, I would later ask Don to list my home. It was a decision that I never regretted. Within four hours, he head the home listed in the multiple listing service. Within 24 hours, he had arranged for advertising in the major area publications and had delivered brochures to all the area realty offices. Within tow days, he arranged for and completed a broker tour for the other agents. The house began showing immediately, and within four weeks the house was sold. Settlement took place one month later. What makes this effort so extraordinary is the fact that the market was extremely slow. Other houses in my neighborhood had been on the market months before my home was even listed for sale. As of this writing, those same houses are still for sale. As such, I cannot say enough about Don's efforts and if I were forced to summarize everything that I have said thus far, it would be the following: Every homeowner who is attempting to sell his home should list that home with Don Fitzgerald. You will not find a better realtor to represent you in handling the most important investment in your life. Sincerely, Dear Don,
As I told you in the beginning, Glenn and I were almost afraid of the whole moving process because we were dreading having to choose a Realtor from what seemed like an ocean of possible candidates. After meeting and talking to several other Realtors we were so relieved and excited when we met you. More than once Glenn and I wondered how you could make a living in "sales" when you genuinely seemed interested in making us happy. I waited weeks for your guard to slip and finally realized you were exactly what you seemed to be -- honest, reliable, helpful and very patient! My dad always taught me that when you are happy with your work, and take pride in it, you don't need a gimmick to be successful. You obviously learned that same lesson and your success speaks volumes about you. Very fondly yours, Dear Don:
You will recall that we had to "fire" our first agent after the house languished on the market for months. We had completed construction of our retirement home on the Bay and were carrying two rather substantial mortgages. Neither was Anne enthusiastic about keeping up two houses. We understood very well that we were in a very tough market, a market that required resourceful and imaginative marketing. After talking with you we were confidant that if anyone could sell our home at a fair price, it was you. Throughout the process your unflagging enthusiasm gave us the lift we needed to put up with the inconvenience and bother of keeping the place show-ready. But I must say you earned your commission when we found ourselves in negotiation with the buyers. We were more than satisfied with the final price. Regards, So when the time comes for your next move,
